Climate Investment Summit 2024
This is a historic moment for the carbon markets as we (ITMO Ltd.) helped Suriname launch the world’s first Sovereign Carbon Credits (#ITMOs) under Article 6 of the new trillion-dollar Paris Agreement Carbon Market at the London Stock Exchange. These unique Carbon Credit ITMOs also include all of Suriname’s #Biodiversity, #SDGs, and #IndigenousRights. Although it took us 3 years of due diligence in developing this new global institutional asset class, we succeeded thanks to Suriname, Coalition for Rainforest Nations and UN Climate Change. Now all corporations and investors can benefit from this #NetZero-compliant product.
